The Weber Baby Q Gas Grill
The Weber q 120 gas grill is also known as the Weber baby q gas grill is a great choice for you if you are a camper or beach goers or if you just like to travel and need a lightweight grill to do some cooking on. Despite the small footprint of this little gas grill, the Weber baby q grill still makes enough food for you and about 4 or 5 of your friends or family. With only 189 square inches of cooking space, you would think that you could only cook a small amount of food on it.
If you want to burn something good, like a 1.5 inch stake, this grill gets nice and hot in less then ten minutes and can sear a stake like you wouldn’t believe. That may come as a shock considering the fact that it is only powered by a little 14 oz propane cylinder that you use for a torch. The only drawback to using the grill this way is you run out of propane really quickly so what I did to solve this problem was I got an adapter from Weber that lets you connect to a 20 pound propane tank and that seems to work a lot better than those little 14 oz tanks. Now I can go a whole summer on just one tank, where before I had to get a new one after about four hours of use. Talk about a pain in the ass! I’m glade Weber actually had a solution for me.
I have tried many cheap grills over the years and none of them have stood up to the test like the Weber baby q gas grill has. This grill is very sturdy and light as a feather, well almost. The reason for this is because it is made out of cast aluminum which is good because it has fallen off the tailgate a few times. The good news is it still works great. Usually when you drop a cheap grill from such a height, the only thing you can expect is to go back to the store to buy another one. I must say that this grill is only about 130 dollars depending on where you buy it but it is definitely worth its weight in gold.

What I Love About the Weber Q 120 Gas Grill
As summer approaches and the days get warmer, I find myself more and more eager to stop cooking dinner inside and start grilling outside. Let’s face it, nothing smells better then grilling a nice stake and some corn on the cob. Luckily I happened to get a Weber q 120 gas grill last summer and can’t wait to use it again.
The great thing about this grill is that it is very portable. I plane on taking it with me on my camping trips during the summer, but anyway… I also like the fact that there is less flare ups then say if you were using a charcoal grill. This is mainly because there is a pan on the bottom that directs the juices away from the flames which is a good idea.
I own a Weber q 220 grill also which has even more features and improvements over the Weber q 120 gas grill, but they both have one thing in common, the electronic start. I love this feature because it doesn’t blow up in your face like some of the other gas grills I’ve used in the past. This is a plus in my book because I have almost caught myself on fire a few times as a result of pushing the electric start and having a fire ball engulf my face.
I have managed to be able to sneak in a few grill nights here and there as the weather gets warmer and the days grow longer, hopefully its not to muck longer before I can have a cookout again.

The Weber Q 120 gas grill – Small Portable and Perfect for Two
I purchased my Weber q 120 gas grill about a year ago to replace my old rusted out BBQ grill and I couldn’t be happier with it. My wife and I love to travel and we take this grill with us everywhere and it has yet to fail us. I can easily cook enough food on it for both of us and it comes out perfect every time. This is mainly because of the use of a cast iron grate instead of the steel wire ones that come with most other grills.
The Weber q 120 gas grill has some cool features a lot of the other grills in its price range just don’t have like a push button electric start that doesn’t explode on you when you first light it and two fold out trays on the side that are very hand to use when you are grilling.
Some of the other features the Weber q 120 gas grill comes with are:
• 189 square inches of cooking space which is actually quite large
• Tuck away work tables that fold up into the grill and have slots for grill accessories
• Uses standard 14 oz propane tanks but you can also use a 20 lbs tank with a separate adaptor
• The cast iron cooking grate, gets hot and stays hot
• A Weber q recipe booklet that has a few tasty recipes in it
• A 5 year warranty so you know it will last

I’ve used a lot of Weber q grills and love every one of them, but if you are only cooking for 2-3 people this grill will be perfect for you. You can use it at home on your back porch or you can take the Weber q 120 gas grill on your next camping trip with you as it only weighs about 30 lbs.
Hopefully my review of the Weber q 120 gas grill has helped you decide if it’s right for you. Now go out and grill something!
